Beesley Balance- ITEM CODE: KTS 024

Beesley Balance is a laboratory testing machine which is used to measure the yarn count directly in a 1 cm sq. sample material. It is a weighing scale which is designed on an aluminum shaft with two crystal bearing.The aluminum beam comprises of stainless steel hooks on both sides to place the yarn one by one on one end and to hand weight on another end. The entire assembly of Beesley balance is designed on a metal box with a transparents liding window to view the test sample easily.

Black acrylic template to prepare sample with Cotton, Half Cotton, Worsted, Metric, Linen count can be directly calculated on this instrument.

Testing procedure:

The threads from the prepared specimen is taken out one by one. The threads are hanged on the thread hanging hook. These threads are hanged one by one on the hook. When the number of threads gets increased gradually, the balance lever starts to lift from the pointer side. A position comes at a time when the balance lever and point get leveled to each other. As the balance lever gets leveled with pointer, we stop to hang the threads in the hook.
